I'm a geometer and physicist by training, and computation is where I put both to work. If I had to describe my foremost specialty, I would say it is translation – of mathematics into runnable software. I enjoy helping travelers from the universes of math and physics find their way.
I hold an MS in Computational Physics from CSULB and an MS in Mathematics from Purdue. Before then, I obtained a BS in math and physics with a minor in computer science from Purdue.
I've taught math and physics for about a decade, and I run Math/Physics Academy primarily on a volunteer basis to explore long-simmering ideas of mine about approaching math and physics education.
